US WWII Captured German WWII Hitler Youth Belt and Buckle
Up for sale is a very special US WWII bringback / captured German artifact. These are often called “Hate Belts”, but not a term BSR Militaria likes to use. This originally began life as a German WWII Hitler Youth Belt and steel buckle made by RZM M4 / 24. During its use it was later taken by a US service member who attached many other German insignias from hats, and shoulder boards. It appears more may had been added but may have come unattached through the years.
To note: The belt was shortened purposely likely to fit the original youth member who was issued the belt. The catch has also been replaced. I am not sure if this was done by the US Vet or by the HJ member, but definitely a period change.
