Up for sale is a very early, German WWI Transitional DD Heer retrofitted with a 1929 dated (M24) style liner.
The tricolor decal is almost fully in tact with great colors! We can see the overcoat of this helmet is a darker shade of green that overlaps it’s original green coat. If this wasn’t enough for you, engraved into the brim of the helmet is the name of the Vet who brought this home!
Coming directly from an Estate – it has never been in a collection before (Except mine).
