Up for sale a very nice and original German WWII M40 Heer Camouflaged helmet. This helmet is a really unique example with a tan, yellow and green overpaint. This paint color scheme was commonly used in the southern front, or Italian campaign. More interestingly the original Heer decal still peaks through the camo, and can easily be made out in hand.
Looking at the inside of the helmet, the leather liner is near complete, although missing its draw string. Also the inside brim still shows the original Heer green factory finish that was applied before its camo.
