Up for sale is a very unusual set of American WWII uniform Cut Off insignias. The set includes a single American 3rd Army patch that was cut from a uniform sleeve and an American Ruptured Duck eagle also cut from a uniform breast pocket.
Interestingly the Ruptured Duck was issued to military service members who were discharged under honorable conditions during WWII – therefore we can pinpoint that these insignias were cut off post war. The reason for this is unclear – but these still are a very interesting set to add to your collection!
